4) Aircraft carriers - A multi-role ship that brings RTS-styled gameplay to the fight. Massive cannons, thick armor and rows of anti-aircraft artillery make them a deadly “triple threat” in any battle. 3) Battleships - These are the designated “heavy hitters” of World of Warships. This class is a major threat on the open water, dealing damage with either massive cannons or deadly torpedoes. 2) Destroyers - Lightly armored but swift, also the fastest & most maneuverable ship. The anti-aircraft guns that line their deck offer another line of defense against high flying threats. This game features a wide variety of ships divided into 4 main types of: 1) Cruisers - These versatile vessels are perfect for hunting other enemy cruisers, spotting them for teammates to target or blowing them to kingdom come personally. You can’t just stop turning immediately – if you’re in a hard turn left and you’ve been in it for a few seconds, it’ll take another few seconds to come out of the turn and straighten out again. Being a massive ship, turning is a bit different too.
Since the game key focus is the accuracy & reality of battle, the drawback is you need to think about everything you do before you do it, much more so than you would in other MMORPG games. There’s also a sniper mode when you need to zero in on a ship in the distance as to make the sea battle experience feel a little more personal. How different shells penetrate different ship armor in this game can easily be felt & distinguished. Ships are meticulously detailed and substantially more than the World of Tanks & World Of Warplanes. World of Warships commitment to historical accuracy is apparent. After you’ve reached a certain point, you’ll unlock Random Battle which allows you to take part in a variety of PVP battles. Meaning, when you first start playing, you’re restricted to co-op. It’s a team-based death-match game where 2 lines of warships face each other down, with the winner determines by the last ship standing. As time passes and winning more battle, you will then earn the currency that can be spent on upgrading your current ship with new weapons, technology and amassing a larger fleet of ships for battle. In World of Warships, you are in command of a single ship sent into battle against a dozen or so other ships, lobbing cannon and shells for miles, launching torpedoes and shooting down aircraft in order to dominate a map and win the game. Wargaming is an international MMO developer and publisher headquartered in Cyprus. This latest MMORPG 3rd person shooter game features the ships of war used in and around the World War II era from various countries, including Japan, U.S.S.R, UK and America. Being the final part of Wargaming’s trilogy, World Of Warships offers the same excitement, if not better, and this sea warfare game is not to be missed by anyone.
